Thick Vinyl
TMI uses only the thickest vinyl! Other manufacturers try to get by with using a thin vinyl film. All TMI Products feature thick, expanded vinyl with a knitted cross-linked backing for extra strength. Simply put, TMI vinyl looks new longer, holds up to wear, cleans up easily, and holds its original shape. We also stock all the popular custom colors and patterns.

COMFORT WEAVE COLORS
Call TMI Products for all your deluxe upholstery needs! Many of the comfort weave colors are now available including: 1967-68 parchment comfort weave, 1970-73
Vermilion comfort weave, and the 1970-73 Ginger Comfort weave.
EXTRUDED CORD
The piping or “welt” on seats and door panels can be made in one of two ways- extruded or wrapped. TMI’s extruded method produces piping made of a solid color that is 23 times thicker than a vinyl wrapped cord. No matter how much wear you give extruded piping, it will never show the cord or white string the way that wrapped cord will.

CONSOLES
A Perfect Match
TMI’s Mustang consoles are a beautiful addition to your Mustang restoration. TMI’s consoles come with a padded armrest, large cup holders and a roomy storage box to hold tapes and CD’s. The Console Caddy and Tunnel Tote are available in all original colors to match your 1965 to 1973 interior. Two-tone combinations are available. Consoles attach with Velcro for easy removal.
CONVERTIBLE BOOTS
A Tailored Fit
TMI Convertible Boots feature a perfect, smooth fit for two reasons: First, our reinforcement padding is sewn into the cover. This keeps the mechanism from showing, and since they are an integral part of the cover, you do not have to keep track of loose pads. Second, we use an exclusive "multi-directional, cross-linked" backing on all our vinyl. This allows a precise fit (and easier stretching) to the vehicle’s snaps and a tailored, trim look.
CONVERTIBLE TOPS
A Precise Fit
We use the same materials as Mercedes-Benz for superior stain and fade resistance. Each top is precision cut to a 30 thousandths tolerance, cross-cut, and RF Heat Sealed to stop shrinkage and provide a tight, no flap, weatherproof fit. It all adds up to an exact fit to the frame structure.

DOOR PANELS
Masonite Backing
TMI uses only Masonite® wood backing for the ultimate in lasting quality. Extremely rigid, durable and unaffected by moisture, Masonite lasts and looks new much longer than cardboard, which can easily bend when dampened by rain or snow. Even cleaning sprays work in around the edges and can begin the deterioration process of cardboard.
Using Masonite results in a longer lasting, nicer looking and better fitting door panel. All colors are matched to your interior and are accented with Bright Mylar Chrome
Accent, just like the original.
SUNVISORS
Jersey Spring Clips
TMI is the only manufacturer to use the J.S.C. mechanism, which allows exact positioning of the sunvisor and holds it tightly in place.
HEADLINERS AND SAIL PANELS
Tough Thread
When stitching rots and stretches, down comes the headliner. TMI uses anti-microbial treated thread which resists mildew and rot and ensures that our headliners remain tight and stay up. Your choice of moonskin or tier grain vinyls.
